Oversee facilities issues and the facility managers for Radian's sites across the country. Every aspect of my previous facility management experience is part-and-parcel of this role (except for security, which is thankfully handled by someone else!). From leaving Center City Philadelphia in order to assist in the build-out of new post-COVID space in the suburbs, to downsizing current space, to making sure there are POs for every conceivable bit of work, to disposing of years of stored furniture, to the hands-on, day-to-day work of arranging for vendors to do onsite tasks and ensure the offices are attractive, healthy, pleasant places to visit, I have had my hand in everything. And, oh yeah--event planning, Somehow Facilities pulled the employee event planning card. Another skill added!

AAA Club Alliance (formerly AAA Mid-Atlantic) offered me the opportunity of participating in caring for its assets in my part of the country--scores of car care, insurance, and travel centers; several corporate office buildings that house administrative operations and call centers; and numerous retail stores scattered over 250,000 square miles in 5 states. The most challenging job of my career, and I'm proud of the organization I brought to Facilities and the strong relationships formed with the 9 facilities technicians who reported to me and the hundreds of AAA associates throughout the Club Alliance portfolio!

Facility manager for a student finance organization. I took care of the employees and their needs as though they were my own family. After seeing to it a state-of-the-art, gorgeous office into which we moved was built out to elicit a big "WOW!", I took care of it. I was the one they called when too hot or cold, the toilet exploded, and there was a mouse in the break room. I survived reconfigurations, reorganizations, remodeling, resentment, and resistance. I heard it all at this company--it was a wonderful place to work!
