I also love to contribute whatever may be needed to cause effectiveness around me. What I see is needed most for life to thrive is powerful listening and courageous self-expression. My first career started after 5 years of medical training in San Francisco, where I graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Since 1991, I have been part of a small eclectic group of highly trained surgeons and clinicians focusing on foot problems. I have personally loved developing a holistic, humanistic practice, helping people solve their foot issues.I had an epiphany in 1999 that had me let go of all convention. I gave my life to musical creation and performance. Even though I thought I was painfully shy, I was dying to express myself in front of people and wanted more than anything to inject vulnerability and humour into my favourite art form, songwriting. This is a lifelong love for me and much more yet to come.In 2022, I chose to transition from being a practicing clinician to becoming a health activist and medical writer.
