Sue Nabi is the CEO of Coty Inc. She is a true veteran in the beauty space, with 30 years of experience across key strategic focus areas for Coty. This includes a track record of success in mass and luxury channels, core fragrances, color cosmetics, skincare, and brand building in international markets.Born in Algeria, Nabi has an Advanced Master's degree in Marketing Management from ESSEC and an engineering degree in Agronomy and Environment. She began her career at L’Oréal in 1993. In 2004, Nabi was promoted to General Manager of L’Oréal France, managing a business of more than 400 million euros in turnover. In mid-2005, she was named the youngest ever president of L’Oréal worldwide. Her tenure saw the L’Oréal brand’s strongest years of growth in the decade - reaching the 4 billion euros mark in 2009 - while her decision to evolve the slogan of L’Oréal Paris to “because we’re worth it” cemented the brand’s commitment to inclusivity. During this period Nabi was named Manager of the Year by Cosmétique Magazine and won three Prix d’Excellence Marie Claire awards. In 2009, Nabi was tasked with revitalizing Lancôme. She successfully transformed the brand, which resulted in three years of up to double-digit growth and a record turnover of €3.2b. During her tenure Nabi pioneered the launch of the most successful fragrance of the last twenty years - 'La Vie est Belle'.In 2012, Sue Nabi left L’Oréal and, in 2017, co-founded Orveda with Nicolas Vu. Orveda is a green, clean, vegan, and genderless skincare range designed to work with the skin, not against it. Known for its highly concentrated biotech formulations, Orveda introduced the Omnipotent Concentrate, one of the industry's most awarded serums and the first to use senolytic-inspired actives. Orveda products are available on Orveda.com and at premier points of sale, luxury spas, and medi-spas worldwide.
