17 years of teaching mathematics in secondary schools from KS3-KS5, have only gave me the opportunity to be closer to the learners in order to best cater for their needs, helping them achieving their full potential. This experience gave me the motivation and nesseccary skills to lead in developing ks4 curriculum. This role inabled me to work closely and collaboratively with my colleagues to comprehend the need for our cohort and tailor a scheme of work that supports them in their journey. In the last 5 years I have taken a head of house role. The opportunity to manage 15+ member of staff as well as around 120 students added more experience to me as well as the pleasure to work with my team in a very competitive way. Furthermore, it has deepened my understanding and made me even more close to child education including personality through the pastoral care beside my role as a tutor. Taking into account the extra-curricular activities we offer after school, all this made my journey so rewarding as my compassion now coupled with commitment.
