- Developed a self-service portal for account managers to initiate automated upgrades of trading and wealth systems for their clients. The backend was developed using an event-driven architecture and AWS serverless technologies (AppSync, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and Lambda). Backstage was used as the service catalogue frontend. Terraform was used for deployments.

- Designed and built the ABS’ container platform. Implemented Aqua Security to provide automated container image assurance, runtime protection and greater visibility of risks across all deployed containers. Developed AWS Service Catalog products that enabled developers to securely pull container images from external registries to the ABS environment.- Migrated the Australian Government’s open data portal (data.gov.au) when it was transferred to the ABS in late 2021. Replatformed the system to use containers and AWS managed services (CloudFront, ECS Fargate, Aurora, S3, EFS, and ElastiCache). CloudFormation was used for deployments.- Designed and implemented Microsoft Exchange and Teams for Census 2021 field managers based on the Australian Government’s Protected Utility blueprint. Automated user provisioning and deprovisioning using Okta Lifecycle Management.- Led various identity initiatives involving Active Directory, Azure AD (including AAD Connect and PIM), Okta and SailPoint IdentityIQ. Designed and implemented the ABS’ external identity system (id.abs.gov.au).- Contributed to DevOps principles, practices and tools. Implemented Octopus Deploy to enable development teams to deploy their applications quickly and consistently across environments.

- Developed VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) blueprints for various applications and platforms. Automated the provisioning of Oracle databases and JBoss application servers.- Migrated platforms and applications running on Windows Server to Linux.- Developed the Linux patching automation solution with Satellite and Puppet.

- Led the initiative to implement a new accounting system (Xero) and streamlined various financial processes to ensure vendors were paid on time and employer obligations were met.

- Supported Java applications running on Tomcat and WebSphere at GE Money.- Improved the performance and reliability of a customer complaint tracking system by replacing a custom SQL Server connection pooling implementation with DBCP.
