I grew up in Russia in the period of wild capitalism and I had to help providing for the family since I was twelve. At that time everybody sold something – I started rather creatively with selling paper cranes in a flea market. In the next few years to follow, I sold computer parts and accessories, assembled computers, taught computer science to beginners and origami to children. By the time I finished my education in 2003 I already had vast experience in different areas.Since then, there’s no task and no team I can’t handle. I opened internet-retail business in Russia, I developed a chain of stores, excelled in online marketing, established a delivery service, learnt to speak tech and exec. I’m an autodidactic person and I know how to use it. Everything I’ve been doing in the last 20+ years I’ve learnt by myself.Since 2016 I’m working my fingers to the bone in Personalization and CRO and that’s where my knowledge blend of product development, UX/UI, marketing, analytics, payments, delivery, competitive analysis, and customer journey came in extremely handy.
