Senior Payroll Officer
CurrentPayroll• Manage complex payroll tasks for over 600 employees, including garnishments, benefit deductions, and overtime pay calculations.• Provide full spectrum of payroll processing and associated activities including processing new hires and terminations, payroll calculation, execution (salaries, leave and other compensation calculations) and reconciliation.• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information to uphold ethical standards.• Monitor and execute payroll activities according to payroll processing schedule.• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and disbursed to client’s employee in a timely manner.• Reduce payroll processing errors by implementing an effective quality control procedure before finalizing payments.• Ensure compliance with the local regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines.• Ensure timely submission statutory remittance.• Administer employee’s tax registration and ensured timely submission of government forms including CP21, CP22 and CP22A etc.• Process accurate and timely year-end reporting.• Prioritize and efficiently handle urgent assignments from clients.• Monthly reporting and cash flow on billings and collections.• Maintain an orderly database and ensure documents and reports are filed in an orderly and timely manner.• Maintain a high level of checking and reporting back, and initiate action where necessary.• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, ensuring their concerns were addressed promptly and professionally.Implementation• Initiate new database, update accurate employee information and pay history and configure payroll elements for new clients.• Manage the employer registration processes for IRB, EPF, PERKESO and other related bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.• Participate in system updates and migrations to modernize the company's approach to managing its workforce compensation needs effectively.
