Sugato‘s work experience comprises human resource management and leadership in, and consulting with a wide variety of organizations.Before joining TTMS-PeopleProfit, Sugato worked with Prysmian S.p.A management for their Indian JV with Nicco Corporation as Senior Vice President - HR. Currently, as President of PeopleProfit – a consulting firm that focuses on the people side of businesses, he consults with organisations in the areas of HR Strategy, HR Systems, Organisation Diagnosis, organisational and individual capability building.He writes regularly in both business and academic press. He has been published in Indian as well as international journals and books, such as: Training & Development (USA) National Report on Human Resource (USA) Training (USA) Business World (India) Business Standard (India) Human Capital (India)He is one of the authors (on application of the Four Level Evaluation model) in 'The Transfer of Learning to Behavior' By Donald Kirkpatrick & James Kirkpatrick (Berrett & Koehler, San Francisco, 2005).Sugato was the winner of Annual OD Research Grant of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD).He frequently speaks and presents papers at international seminars and conferences, such as Annual Conference of ASTD (New Orleans), International Federation of Training & Development Organizations (IFTDO) Conference (Cairo), and International Learning & Development Conference (Kuala Lumpur).He has been a visiting faculty at XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he taught an elective course in the Postgraduate (PM & IR) Program, for several years.Sugato holds a Postgraduate degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Delhi University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling & Guidance from NCERT.
