Responsible for the research and development of methods for doping silicon into the structure of carbon nanotube's (CNT's) through a thin film (5-10 nm) of Nickel. The growth of these CNT's were found in literature to be catalyzed on the surface of the nickel film, through the use of a carbon vapor reagent. This was exhibited at temperatures exceeding 1000 degree celsius. My methods included the use of chemical vapor deposition (CVD), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Scanning electron microscope (SEM), and various spectrophotometer analysis.
