Working as the Senior Lead in Tata Communications Transformation Services Ltd (Vodafone Idea Ltd), responsible for Projects and Operations of OFC, BSC, BTS, MW, Routers & Transmission nodes in Vellore Zone from December, 2019 KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Executing the network consolidation projects of LTE sites by ensuring E2E media • Working with vendors and internal resources to complete Fiber, BTS, MW, Mux, Router installations, swapping & upgradations as per plan to achieve the target • Implementing new projects by Survey, preparing BOQ, Material receiving, Installation & Commissioning, Quality Checking & Supervision and Acceptance Testing • Transmission and IP projects rollout (PTN, DWDM & SDH) in new / existing OFC routes • Managing the Network Operations including Fiber, Access Network, Routers and Infra in zone for 1500 Km OFC & 1800 eNB sites • Fiber Health checkup carried out by performing optical test for fiber optic device modules including visual inspection, insertion loss and return loss testing • Transmission network readiness for new ILL customers and expansion as per business plan • Taking corrective actions against alarms by analyzing the KPI reports • Ensuring maximum PM compliance as per target • Action plans taken on the Critical Incidents for preventing the reoccurrence in future • Monitoring the acknowledgement of incident tickets, rectification and closure within SLA • Coordinating with sharing infra providers and VIL sites for infra and power related issues • Supervising Cluster Leads, MS Engineers, Vendors and Fiber Engineers & Technicians • Handling monthly presentations and review meetings with internal & external stakeholders • Knowledge sharing through presentations and technical training for operational teams • Tracking of spares, faulty, RS&R and safety procedure as per norms • Meeting with government authorities related to RoW • Data base updates maintained for all RoTN sites with Technical parameters and Manpower mapping
