• Motivating and coaching employees to improve HSE leadership and culture;• Monitoring and evaluating the HSE employee performance for local staff and external personnel;• Support during HSE incident investigation;• Deploying an environmental strategy;• Supporting sites with knowledge and data in reducing emissions, waste, wastewater;• Conduct aspect/impact assessments;• Development annual HSE action plans;• Coordination of all HSE required training – comprising of new employee orientation/inductions, rigging and slinging, work at height, plant operator, etc.;• Preparation of annual Legal environmental reports;• Interaction with legal authorities;• Interaction with contract companies by means of analysis of contractor risk assessments, method statements, test certificates, maintenance records, records of inspection, lifting plans etc.• Sewage treatment management (treatment facility);• Leader of the site environmental committee;• Undertaking internal and supplier HSE audits and inspections;• Assist in the communicating of corporate and company HSE objectives and targets.• Provide effective HSE communications– HSE alerts, toolbox talks, newsletters, etc.
