Working as a backend java engineer in developing a web application from scratch called data operations dashboard to track all the vehicle info captures and use it for analysis.Tech Stack Used: Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Docker and Git2. 1. Developed the auto installation application using java to automatically upgrade the software at customer location.2. Upgradation involves taking the backup of entire data on the existing software version, installing the new software and overwriting the software with backed up data.3. The above process used to be manual and used to take around 48 hours.4. The auto upgrade utility which was developed using java and other run time libraries to call external executables. This utility will automatically take the backup considering the software’s ideal situation, upgrade to new version and add the old backup.
