Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) is an award winning multi-disciplinary design consultancy, with offices in Doha, Muscat, Salalah and Manila. Currently leading the Master Planning & Urban Design at Doha office, with hands-on design role covering all stages of project from Inception, Concept, Schematic, Tender, Issue for Construction, Site Coordination etc. Technical lead on projects shaping and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients, while focussing on master planning and urban design, with a specific background in residential master planning, urban extensions, garden communities design, heritage regeneration projects, Townscape & Urban Design guidelines and city regeneration projects. Working in tandem with all disciplines, especially landscape, sustainability, mobility/ traffic, roads & infrastructure (dry & wet utilities), interior design & architecture for a truly integrated Urban Design and Master Plan solutions. Clear understanding and conversant with all municipal codes, zoning regulations and bye-laws, with an active role in ensuring timely approvals at all stages. As team leader, I am also responsible for the client communication, presentation to clients and stakeholders, internal project organization and coordination of the different disciplines.

Team Leader with primary role of Design Management, also formulated Urban Design Guidelines for various township projects, with active role in several large scale master plan projects. Reviewed the overall land bank of the company and shortlisted potential projects for initialization. Conducted site visits, market studies, financial feasibility analysis, and recommended projects for management review and internal approval. Carved the product mix based on the most appropriate scientific methods and accurate analysis of market data.

Started as an Entrepreneur, with office located in the capital city. Responsible for all aspects of running the business, including client interaction, coordination with contractors, project scheduling & management, municipal approvals, till the completion and hand-over. Designed & delivered few high end residences and office interiors.

Saudi Arabia

Trained with a leading Design Firm based in Jeddah/Saudi Arabia, with a multi disciplinary team of Architects, Engineers and Visualisation Artists: on High End Dwellings (low rise and mid-rise), and a restaurant chain (McDonald's outlets planned at Jeddah and Medinah).
