Presently, working with Ananta hotels and resorts as a Corporate Horticulture & Landscaping Manager in Rajasthan. This resort is designed as a natural dense forest wide spread around 90 acres on the top of a hill. Various forestry, ornamental, flowering, medicinal and fruit trees have been planted here. Company has six owned properties and other managed hotels and resorts across Rajasthan India. I am responsible to visit all resorts and manage the horticulture and landscaping maintenance issues.

Maldives

Presently I am working with Paradise Island Resort - Maldives. It’s a large resort spread across one kilometer long lush green Island surrounded by turquoise blue water. As a landscape manager I am responsible for the maintenance of wide spread gardens, large lawns, several orchids and other flowering plants and various varieties of native tropical trees, 1500 coconut trees, a rich plant nursery, a vegetable garden and pest control for mosquitos and plant diseases. For this massive challenge I have 27 gardeners, 6 coconut tree climbers, 4 pest control guys and 2 supervisors. Since it’s a big challenge to import the plants from Thailand or India, we are doing our plant production by cuttings and seeds in the nursery. I am not only doing the maintenance of the existing gardens but also renovating and developing various new gardens as well.

Muscat Governorate, Oman

In this Landscaping Company, as a landscaping operation manager I was responsible for the smooth running operations of the company. Negotiation with clients, prompt action on client’s requests, supervise the ongoing landscaping projects, ensure the supplies, accomplishment of projects within time limit, budgeting and cost controlling of the project, review and correction of the landscaping designs. Moreover, dealing with staff and look after of their accommodation and welfare was also a part of my duty. A nursery spread in 24 acres was also under my supervision.

Baghdad - Iraq

In United States Embassy in Baghdad I had the position of Landscape Manager responsible for maintenance and new landscaping projects of a large area spread in 104 acres. My key responsible area here includes not only managing a large landscaped garden but several other jobs like Dealing with suppliers, purchasing the machineries and tools, prepare the annual budget, SOP and other various documents for my department and handling a large work force of 55 groundskeepers, leads and supervisors of different nationalities, was the part of my routine work. MRPT – “Moderate Risk Public Trust” cleared through PAE

In this oil and Gas Company, I worked as a Landscape Specialist. I was In charge of the beautiful landscaped garden spread in 70,000 sq. meters. My job profile was about management and improvement the large garden, irrigation system, a large fleet of groundkeepers, foreman and supervisors. I was dealing the vendors and the landscape contractors, preparing the new scope of work, annual budget, BOQ, KRA, SOP and PnP for the subordinate staff. Using the strict safety policy, proper training to staff and coordinate with QHSE department were also my responsibilities.

In this five star hotel, I was working as Senior Horticulturist and Department Head. I was responsible for the development and management of the Landscaping area spread in 8 acres. I was not only doing my job rather I used to provide active support for other high profile events of hotel. Cost control, applying the six sigma theory in routine operation and staff welfare was also a part of my profile. I have accomplished it and received the Letters of Appreciation by the management.

Jaipur Area, India

In this five star hotel, I worked as a Senior Horticulturist & Department Head. I was in charge and responsible for the smooth operation of landscape management spread in 23 acres of area. I had a large team of 40 groundskeepers and supervisor. Keeping the area perfect and presentable with a short budget in a cost effective way was a challenge for me to overcome, which I accomplished successfully.

Kota Area, India

In this five star hotel, I held the position of full time Landscaping and Horticulture Consultant who act and bear a profile of Department Head. This is an old palace of the ruler family and converted as a five star hotel. Here I was in charge for the renovation of entire landscaping area spread in 15 acres. With help of limited supporting staff and inadequate budget, I have successfully accomplished it with time deadline.
