As an Operations Supervisor at Abilities Inc., I oversee the daily operations of a warehouse that provides employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities. I graduated with a graduate diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Manukau Institute of Technology in April 2021, where I learned the fundamentals of supply chain planning, inventory management, transportation, and quality control. I have more than three years of experience in the logistics field, having previously worked as a Warehouse Coordinator at NZ Supply Ltd., where I was responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. I have strong problem-solving, metrics-driven, and customer-focused service skills, which enable me to optimize the efficiency, productivity, and satisfaction of the warehouse operations. I am passionate about supporting the mission of Abilities Inc., which is to empower people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and independence in the workplace and society. I am always looking for ways to improve the quality of service, enhance the performance of the team, and foster a culture of inclusion and respect.
