As a DevOps Engineer at Nutanix, I am part of the core security team that manages and configures the base gold image for Prism Central, a cloud management platform. I handle CVE patching and RPM updates for Centos and Rocky Linux, resolve STIG issues, and debug processes related to gold image configurations. I am committed to enhancing security practices within the team and the organization.I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Palestine Polytechnic University, where I developed my problem-solving skills, collaborated with colleagues on multiple projects, and used my full potential to maximize my technical abilities. I also obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and the Manara-Certified Software Engineer certifications, and participated in the PCPC ACM contest. Before joining Nutanix, I worked as a Backend Engineer at Cybord, a startup that provides AI-based solutions for electronic components inspection. There, I used Python (fastAPI), PostgreSQL and AWS cloud to develop and maintain the backend services and APIs. I also have experience as a full-stack developer, creating freelancing projects using Angular and other technologies.I strive to become the best version of myself and always improve my skills. With hard work, creativity, and problem-solving skills, I can take on any challenge. I am passionate about security and cloud computing, and eager to learn new tools and frameworks.
