As the Head of the department I was responsible to provide leadership & coordinate the Human Resource activities. As a Sr. HR Advisor I was responsible to lead a team of HR Advisors and ensure the smooth delivery of HR Operational activities for Applied Materials India with a Headcount of close to 1500+ employees, I was responsible for the resolution/clarification of Manager, employee and HR queries & concerns pertaining to policies & procedures.I owned the Staffing Audit for Applied Materials in APAC region that included Applied Materials India, China, Japan, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan centers. I was responsible to ensure that every single offer that is rolled out in the Asia Pacific region by Applied Materials, adhered to the structure and process that had been laid out.At Applied Materials, I was given the responsibility of redesigning/revamping multiple Human Resource processes/policies and initiatives including Compliance related documentations, Exit Process, Induction process etc.Some of the processes that I have executed successfully include, designing/revamping the New Employee On-boarding Process for Applied Materials India, redesigning the Domestic Relocation policy & process for India Employees, designing the New Hire On-boarding project for Applied Materials - APAC Region etc. Also I was actively involved in HR Analytics and Data Reporting, for which I have received multiple appreciations and awards at India & APAC level.My main focus in this position was to drive a positive manager and employee experience with the HR team, advise managers & employees on HR policies/processes/tools and guide them accordingly, responsible for HR Analytics & Reporting and work on new initiatives to drive positive employee experience.
