As a community volunteer at The Basics Project, Suhanika Sinsinwar supports low-income families and individuals with mental health issues, providing them with counseling, resources, and referrals. They have developed strong communication, empathy, and advocacy skills through this role, as well as a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of the community.Suhanika is also a psychology student who is pursuing a PGDP Behaviour Science Technician degree at George Brown College, after completing their Masters in Clinical Psychology at Amity University. They have a keen interest in applied behaviour analysis and cognitive psychology, and have demonstrated their research and writing abilities through various projects and internships. They have received the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) certification from The British Psychological Society, and have completed the Psychological First Aid course from The Johns Hopkins University. Suhanika's goal is to become a professional behaviour analyst who can help people improve their lives and well-being.
