Applied K-means clustering on data collected from a survey conducted for a client’s new product and clustered the responses into regions of 100 square mile areas based on the zip codes. Using parameters like people’s opinion on competitor’s product, first impression on the new product on a numerical scale, the clusters were classified into low, medium or high potential regions for product sales that lead to effective marketing strategies. Performed sentiment analysis by retrieving data from twitter using Tweepy to provide accurate public conscience about the products to minimize and forecast potential losses.
