I spent 23 years out of 35 years of service managing and supervising protected areas. Initiated many novel schemes for managing Human: Wildlife conflict, wildlife health care, wildlife forensics, Wildlife crime surveillance and investigations, and fully equipped and trained wildlife rescue teams all over the state and worked towards fund-raising for wildlife conservation through M.P. Tiger Foundation Society. Developed skills among the staff for mass capture and translocation of herbivores. Conceived and established Conservation breeding centres for vultures and Hard Ground Barasingha. I was instrumental in establishing several interpretation centres in major protected areas of the state. Carried out a research study on the impacts of ongoing tourism on M.P.'s Tiger reserves and wrote a doctoral thesis on the effects of tourism on the tiger reserves of Madhya Pradesh.. Wrote a detailed field guide for park interpreters (guides) in Hindi. The M.P. Ecotourism Development Board published this book. Worked as Head of the Wildlife Extension faculty in the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, and contributed to the development of WII in its formative years. Obtained special qualifications and training in Conservation education, Nature Interpretation, and Ecotourism from the US, UK, and Australia. The latest book is a non-fiction titled- Nature's Disciple published by Notion Press.My write-ups, research papers, and case studies have been published in books, official reports, newspapers, and web media.
