“When I was young, I had to sell the idea of ‘buying a computer’ to my parents. Selling was so successful that we got the best computer of that time at home. It didn’t start there though. I think it was a gradual process of how I got inducted into sales. Soon enough I realized that sales is not just restricted to getting business. It is more about commitment, business relationships, transparency, that willingness to win and so many other aspects.”Suhas has always found it interesting working in sales. Over the years, he has developed his skills to become efficient in managing, strategizing, planning, client engagements, revenue maximization, and other sales tasks. Suhas was awarded Presidents Circle Award (2017) for achieving 142% of goals and was among the top 5% performers in APAC. he also received the ‘Excellence Award 2017’ in the same year for his commitment to perfection at work. He has been awarded ‘Leadership in Excellence 2020’ for his unparalleled focus in leading and managing the team.Suhas is a passionate photographer and he usually engages himself doing photography. He has used his creative movie-making skills to shoot Orientation Videos for new hires in his previous roles. He has also helped the hotel marketing department with food photography for monthly hotel magazines and worked closely with hotel IT as IT Champion for Sales to help resolve IT-related issues quickly within the department. Between the jobs, In the year 2015, Suhas had taken up photography assignments for Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai and also created Modeling portfolio for budding models.Suhas has an innovative, passionate, and focused approach to his work. He leans toward a democratic or participative style of leadership. He tends to set the parameters for the work and actively involve his team members in the process.
