Dr. Suhas Gajre, Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is currently working as Principal, Govt. College of Engineering, Jalgaon - an Autonomous Institute of Govt of Maharashtra, India). He is Professor in Dept. of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIET), Nanded, Maharashtra - a Govt. aided autonomous Institute. He was working as Dean (Innovation, Incubation, and Linkages) at SGGSIET Nanded before joining as Principal, GC|OEJ in which he was in charge of activities of innovation, startup, incubation, and entrepreneurship in the institute. Earlier to this he worked as Dean (Incubation and Procurement) during which he was in charge of the above activities, and also additionally in charge of all procurement related activities from Oct '20 till Jul '23 at SGGSIET Nanded. He was also coordinator of SGGSIET-AICTE IDEA lab - one of the 90+ such labs in India - in which students do prototyping of their ideas. He was coordinator of Technology Incubation and Entrepreneurship Cell (TIEC), and M.Tech. (ES&VLSI) coordinator in SGGSIET Nanded. Earlier, he was working as Dean (Industry Liaison) and in-charge of Training & Placement activities during Aug '18 till Jul '20 at SGGSIET Nanded. During this period, the institute received 4th Rank in ARIIA 2020 in Govt and Govt-aided categories. Dr. Gajre also headed the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering dept. during Jul '14 to Jul '16 at SGGSIET Nanded.  Suhas completed his Ph.D from IIT Delhi in Biomedical Engineering in 2007. Prior to that, he completed B.E. (Electronics) and M.E. (Electronics) degrees from SGGSIET Nanded in 1990 and 1995 respectively. He is a Fellow of IETE, Fellow of IE(I) and life member of ISTE.  Dr. Gajre has published more than 50 peer reviewed research papers. Under his guidance, 6 students have completed Ph.D degree, and currently he is guiding 8 research scholars towards Ph.D. degree. He has also supervised many PG dissertations.
