The Colorful Stop-Motion environmental animation, entitled Green Program, is geared towards elementary school students (Grades 3 and up). Green Program promises to deliver interesting lessons on Earth-friendly practices. Its content is segmented like a cartoon show, animated in a wonderful appealing youthful manner providing a good mixture of fun and education in the same viewing. This first episode of Green Program showcases a prominent Windsor-based environmental project “Green Corridor” founded by Canadian artist, Noel Harding and Visual Arts Professor, Rod Strickland. This animation will be used as an innovative teaching tool in schools and public libraries in Windsor, Ontario.Green Program is created by University of Windsor alumnus William Yeung and sponsored by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, University of Windsor, the Windsor-Essex Catholic DSB & Greater Essex County DSB.
