Looking back I can see that I had an entrepreneurial spirit from a very young age swapping teenage mutant hero turtle and football stickers and selling video games to friends. In 2003 I opened an Ebay and Gumtree account and I would sell and flip stuff I didn’t need for myself or for friends and family as a side hustle/hobby alongside my full time jobs. I moved on to sell apartments in London, a lot more expensive than video games, and in 2018 I then stumbled across Amazon FBA. I created a business – Shard Global Sales Limited, selling various household products on this giant ecommerce platform Amazon. I did not think it would become a full time business, more of a side business for extra income, however that all changed in February 2020 when I left the corporate world of property to become a full time Sales Director at Shard Global Sales and my new brand was born Bermond Life focusing on products for the wellbeing of people and pets.I am a mentor for Amazon sellers who are brand new to the ecommerce world and want to create a successful business and have more time freedom or they have already started an Amazon business and want some guidance to accelerate. Senior Sales NegotiatorBellway Homes Aug 2017 - Apr 2020The Residence, Nine Elms, London, Sw8In August 2017 I was promoted to Senior Sales Negotiator at the most prestigious development Bellway has ever had in it's 74 year history - The Residence (324 units) and Lexington Gardens (262 units) Nine Elms Battersea, total value circa £200,000,000 million. For 3 years I successfully lead a team of two full time staff members to sell apartments ranging from £595,000 to £2,000,000. I sold one of the most expensive apartments Bellway has ever marketed - Plot 180 a wonderful 3 bed penthouse with views south and north to the US Embassy and river and a spectacular terrace, asking price of £2,000,000. We worked as a courageous team at this seven day a week site ensuring excellent customer service and aftercare. We hit half and full year targets with a huge amount of pressure to deal with complicated overseas finance structures and mortgages. I sold the apartments at a rapid pace and we won the Sales team of the year trophy and the Thames Gateway division Sales and Development team of the year award after only 10 months at the company. In year two I won the Customer Care award for outstanding work with the 113 purchasers at the So Stepney development, resulting in excellent surveys for the division and keeping our 5 star status. In 2015 I sold off plan and despite many building delay challenges I completed on 58 apartments at Listello Buildings in Clapham SW4, a prestigious development with prices ranging from £329,995 to £814,995. I then went on to work on two projects at the same time; the first was the final phase of the successful Pavilions development, 71 apartments of an ongoing regeneration project in Tottenham Hale. I then went on to work full time on my own at a very unique development of ten apartments in a converted and beautiful old school building in Stepney E1, with prices ranging from £449,995 to £849,995. I completed these successfully along with a smaller modern development of 8 apartments called Essian Place on the same location as the Old School building. -
