Since relocating to Australia from the UK in 2013, I have led the business and transformation of CBLA and our product, the Occupational English Test (OET), setting a new strategic direction including diversification and a customer centric approach and partnership model that has won the confidence of the market and driven exponential growth. With full P&L accountability, my focus has been on building a sustainable and resilient organisation that supports the communication needs of the healthcare sector globally by embedding organisational transformation, building partnerships, sales and brand awareness, digital enablement and process improvement and creating an invigorated organisation culture based on driving customer value and performance excellence. Throughout, I have engaged with global stakeholders and provided thought-leadership, positioning CBLA as a global leader in healthcare communication. • Delivered 9x growth, securing acceptance of OET globally including the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, expanding global test offerings and growing brand presence to over 180 locations in approx. 60 countries;• Won Governor of Victoria 2021 Export Award in the Professional Services category; ranked 38th in the Australian Financial Review's Fast 100 2020 list, and 15th in New York based Women President's Organization 2020 50 fastest women led/owned organisations.• Have successfully created the market for healthcare-specific language testing and established OET as the global brand for healthcare communication and has done so while garnering market share in many major global markets.• Established true digital capabilities, leading large-scale enterprise-grade system project reducing legacy risk and increasing customer value and efficiency.• Have successfully transformed CBLA in to a a high-performing and high-engagement organisation with a responsive, collaborative and ‘one team, one mission’ culture and shift to exponential thinking.

A strategic role with an immediate focus on recovering a critical tender underpinning global growth, I converted a major contract with the Department of Home Affairs and engaged external stakeholders to more effectively target client and industry needs.Responsible for Cambridge Assessment English's operations in Australia and New Zealand. Successfully established a new test delivery network across the two countries, increased brand awareness and revenue. Recruited and developed a team for the region.

During this period, I worked with the IELTS Partners, British Council and IELTS Australia and led all global marketing and communications to raise the global profile of IELTS, developing and executing brand awareness and PR campaigns.

I was part of the original IELTS global marketing leadership team that raised the global profile of the test and consolidated its position as the most powerful brand in English language testing. Later, my role progressed to include the ESOL portfolio across multiple markets, where I engaged frequently with stakeholders to maximise brand growth.

During this period, I led on the development of the IELTS branding and worked in partnership with the IELTS partners in IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment. This brand helped convert IELTS in to a global brand and consolidated its position as market leaders in language testing. The existence of the branding till date with little or no change is a testament to its enduring success.
