Here's a strange question to find in a LinkedIn bio: You ever solve a jigsaw puzzle?Doesn't it feel like light bulbs going off in your head every time you put together sections of the puzzle and the dots suddenly just start connecting? The first time I stumbled upon machine learning, it was like finding the missing piece to a puzzle I didn't even know I was building!I was always a curious kid and loved to relate my learnings to everyday life. But the math I studied never really made any holistic sense to me. It was always a bunch of concepts floating in isolation that you needed to learn in order to pass an exam. But then came machine learning. Suddenly the jigsaw puzzle was complete! I was spellbound!I have spent my time ravenously devouring everything I could find about this new discipline ever since. In this journey, I found myself enamored with natural language processing in particular.My work has been very reflective of my love for languages and AI. Working with low-resource Indian languages and building NLU components for conversational AI systems with state of the art transformer models has been a daily activity. The challenges I faced in order to production-ize these systems was an eye-opener for me. This led to me discovering the fascinating world of MLOps, and how to implement those principles using cloud services like Microsoft Azure and AWS.Currently, I have experience working with the following technologies: Conversational AI, Intent classification and slot filling, PyTorch 2, PyTorch Lightning, Tensorflow 2, HuggingFace Transformers, Scikit-learn, Pandas 2, Langchain, Azure Machine Learning, Azure App Services, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob storage, Azure container registry, AWS S3, EC2, ECR, Docker, Git, Python.If you want to talk AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or just about languages in general, feel free to reach out!
