I am a software developer with expertise in AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and Data Science. I obtained a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Data Technology from Myong-ji University in Seoul, South Korea and my aim is to make meaningful contributions in developing technology solutions that generate positive global impact. In 2023, I worked as a Software Developer Intern at Ericsson-LG where I utilized agile methodologies and design thinking to develop and iterate technical solutions. One of my favorite accomplishments was being recognized as the Best Award Winner for the “Girls in ICT 2022 Hackathon by Ericsson”, a competition for female students in STEM to propose technical solutions for a sustainable future. Our team developed a #SHOWER smart water system to reduce water consumption using Raspberry Pi, IoT sensors, and software to monitor water usage and send alerts. During a foreign exchange program at the Ilmenau University of Technology in Germany, I studied Deep Learning and Data Driven Optimization for Machine Learning. The software generates facial composites based on user input and uniquely allows partial edits for ongoing updates and enhancements.● To find the optimal solution, I evaluated various deep learning models that could meet the needs of the project. Along the way, I taught myself the architecture of the model, how to use it in conjunction with various libraries, and how to push and load the completed model.● As ML Developer and Data Engineer, my responsibilities included preprocessing data into the correct format for the learning model, fine tuning the Stable Diffusion model, utilizing Google Prompt-to-Prompt logic for image editing, and contributing to the Huggingface ecosystem by publishing the dataset and model. Our team of 3 people developed a #SHOWER smart water system to reduce water consumption using a hardware sensor and application to measure water usage and send alerts. The solution utilized: Raspberry Pie, IOT sensor modules, Node.js, Docker containers, and Github.● As a Cloud Developer, I wrote a Docker Compose file that ran two containers (mySQL database server and Node.js web app), and linked the two together. ● As a Data Engineer, I wrote a python script that received real time values from the sensor every second and stored the data. ● As the Team Lead, my aim was to foster a positive culture where team members could freely share brilliant yet imperfect ideas, allowing us to leverage creativity while feeling free from judgment. Despite high pressure and time constraints, our team was able to develop an innovative idea along with a great story, which led to us winning the competition.
