Provide leadership and supervision to the BIM team and its activities.• Present BIM Capabilities & benefits to Clients.• Create and maintain a BIM Coordination Programme that is aligned with the Project Programme.• Identify any impact on the BIM Coordination Programme arising from errors in the transmission and use of information during the BIM process.• Identify and document clashes between different discipline models using clash detection software.• Involvement with Value Engineering.• Resolving problems and issues that arise during the modeling & coordination.• Establish quality control procedures to check that all of the models are accurate; the level of detail is fit for the purpose.• Coordinating with contractors and other professionals.• Track projects to maintain a real-time picture of the status and priority.• Working as part of a team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages. • Be responsible to meet the project deadline schedules & deliverables.• Liaison with other consultants and disciplines to ensure coordinated and well-resolved integration of structural and building services solutions.• Ensure that projects under their control are sufficiently resourced, flagging up any problems and issues to the other.• Have an understanding of tests, new and innovative materials, and technologies, making informed decisions on their use and specification.• Extensive experience in detailing construction drawings for Residential and Commercial Building projects in the USA.• Highlight the discrepancies in the contract drawings/specification and raise RFIs accordingly.• Set up internal & on-site Web meetings to discuss the issues, plans to serve the project smoothly.
