o Developed proof of concept (POC) of the long-acting injectable and high-concentration formulation containing small (synthetic drug) and large molecules (biologics). o Extensively surveyed and shortlisted suitable small molecules and biologicals for generating POCs with ALD coating technology.o Performed cell viability study of coated drug particles on different cell lines to understand the effect of materials on cell lines.o Designed and conducted animal (rats and dogs) experimentations and cell viability.o Established new link-ups with Professors of IIT and industry for designing new projects and business growth.

o Conducted a collaborative project with a clinician in Mumbai to develop an oral herbal-mineral spray for prophylactic use in bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19, followed by filing the patent.o Jointly developed “Anti-thrombophlebitic sequentially coated intravenous cannula with in-situ gelation property for the maintenance of extended duration venous patency” with a clinician of the Indian Navy, followed by patent filing.o Developed lung-targeted drug delivery of carbocisteine and erythromycin for lung infection.o Generated proof of concept to host-targeted zero-dimension drug/dye-conjugated carbon dots for cervical cancer.o Developed and demonstrated improvement of artemisinin activity by conjugating it with carbon dots for antimalarial activity.o Evaluated the effect of ZnO quantum dots on different cell lines to qualify safe concentration for human use, followed by publication.o Developed POC on different drug delivery like lung targeted delivery of AIPH-loaded nanocarrier system to treat hypoxia, Nanocochleate for drug delivery to lungs, etc.

o Developed dry powder inhaler and metered dose inhaler for pulmonary tuberculosiso Worked closely with the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Parel, Mumbai, and demonstrated the safety of metered dose inhalers after conducting acute and sub-acute toxicity studies on both oral and inhaler routes.

Served as a paper setter, paper evaluator, and external practical examiner in the different pharmaceutical colleges in Gujarat.4.
