As the Managing Director of Options Media Pvt Ltd., have been extremely successful in enhancing the company’s performance and in driving the company towards its set financial and revenue goals. Under my leadership, the brand JFW (Just for Women) has evolved from being a magazine targetting progressive South Indian Women to a strong digital platform creating engaging content for our audience. With a prime focus on creating quality content that aligns with the sensibilities of our South Indian audiences, we have managed to reach a million users on our JFW YouTube channel within a short span of time. Each of our Webseries and shortfilms stands out for its content and quality of production.

Joined as head of Product Development team at HMV Saregama. Successfully designed products according to market demands and with my experience in the media space we created products integrating music and advertisers brand communication. This was a new concept for the audio market. In addition to acquiring new film music content, monetizing the existing repertoire was key and this was identified and ensured that new products were launched which yielded more profitability.

Joined the popular Tamil GEC channel, Vijay Tv (now Star Vijay) and have played a key role in the channel’s makeover in the year 1999. During my tenure with Vijay TV as the Regional Manager – Sales & Marketing, was instrumental in identifying events as a key driver for the channel and conceptualized, Produced, marketed and executed more than 25 ground plus television events which were lapped up by both viewers and advertisers. This kind of module for filling content as well as deriving revenue through events was a new concept among television channels at that time. This innovative concept played a key role in achieving the ambitious revenue numbers set out by the channel.

Was part of the Chennai team of Indian Express Bombay Group. As the head of the Sales & Marketing team, I initiated and spearheaded 2 editions of the South Screen Awards and was responsible for entire production, Logistics and execution. I was part of the Product team which launched Tamil news magazine “Tamilan Express”. With focused and innovative marketing efforts the magazine crossed 1 lac copies within a span of 6 weeks from the launch, which inturn went on to become a successful revenue generator from the south market.

Started my career as a Sales Executive with key responsibility of garnering revenue for the Yellow pages of various cities in India. Was awarded as Top performer of the year and was elevated as Senior sales executive within 8 months.
