Job Description:Procurement:•Identifying areas of improvement by conducting periodic audits & recommending process modifications to enhance efficiencies in Production & Plant Maintenance •Preparing various MIS / Reports about activities on Plant Operation, Maintenance & Purchasing to facilitate information sharing.•Strengthening existing vendor source & developing alternate suppliers.•Communicating technical specifications, negotiating with Vendors, monitoring Vendor performance to ensure cost effective supply of quality material.•Negotiating & assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criteria such as prices, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms etc.•Ensuring adherence to quality standards for all incoming materials/parts.•Ascertaining Material Requirements; identifying and developing a reliable Vendor base in local & overseas market for procurement of materials & spares.•Developing sound sourcing strategies to minimize Total Cost of Acquisition of direct materials.•Releasing supply schedules regularly to Vendors to ensure on time deliveries.Project execution BAR & WIRE ROD ROLLING MILL (105m/s Capacity 0.5 MTPA).• Cooling Bed & Bar Line alignment, erection..• Hydraulic Systems Erection work.• Report preparation, Inspection of equipments at vendor site.• Fabrication, erection & alignment of steel structures.• Foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures.• Coordinating the site Job along with Contractor and Italian supervisors (Technological supplier)• Site Progress Report, Micro Erection Plan & Schedule.Successfully commissioned 160 TPH CFBC Boiler.• Fabrication, erection & alignment of Boiler Structures.• Erection of ESP.• Completed Fuel and Air Piping of Boiler,erection of Primary and Secondary fan,Duct for Primary,Secondary & Induced Fan.• Completed Hydro test as well as Refractory dry out test.• Responsible for commissioning of boiler.
