My current position enables me to be involved in a deal from the time of origination until the monitoring of it. My job involves various steps like finding suitable deals by reaching out to various stakeholders like Banks/FIs, Intermediaries, Investors and promoters etc., analyzing the deals, preparing the business model along with valuation, coordinating with various agencies for conducting due diligence, preparing the investment memo and presenting it to the Investment Committee, structuring the deal, documenting and finally investing. Further, after a successful investment, my role also extends to keeping track of the company for various developments and finding opportunities for successful exit. It gives immense pleasure to see the impact on the company, its employees and all the stakeholders by reviving stressed companies and making them banking worthy and being a part of the journey of their growth again. , I am looking at various sectors including Manufacturing, Power, Steel, Hospitality, Engineering, Real Estate etc. with stressed assets in focus.

• Analyzing Financial of Company, its industry, Assessing overall Risk including Management risk, Financial Risk, Conduct Risk, Industry Risk, Business Risk and finding the credit worthiness of the company with thorough analysis and due diligence.• Responsible for assessing the credit quality of particular proposal on the basis of 360 degree feedback including disclosed information, market reference, industry analysis and peer analysis.• Preparing CMA sheet in order to conduct rating of the borrower in the rating tool.• Undertaking detailed appraisal for all types of Working Capital facilities (fund & non-fund based). • Ensuring error-free preparation of proposal notes of necessary quality and in line with the proposal format, Corporate Credit Policy, RBI/ other regulatory guidelines. • Responding to the observations raised by Risk /Audit/Compliance departments with regards to the new clients and existing portfolio of accounts handled. • Continuous monitoring of the accounts in the portfolio in order to detect Early Warning Signals (EWS) and being involved in follow-up with RMs/customer for improvement in EWS rating. Ensuring NIL pending security creation and timely submission of Control returns in frequencies defined by policy.
