Working at this Educational Tourism Startup, the job role was to be flexible and go-getter, doing any work that comes my way effectively with utmost efficiency.Primary role as a Sr. Tour Manager was to ensure all the important aspects of the tour are taken care of during the tour, by having effective communication with multiple vendors involved. Ensuring that the planned itinerary is worked out in such a manner, that the travelers can have the best experience, irrespective of the rare limitations and challenges faced during the tour.Also had an important role to play in grooming newly joined tour managers, by helping them understand multiple challenges that they can encounter on tours and how to face them effectively, by giving them practical exposure to such challenges while on tours, requiring quick decision making skills and problem solving abilities.Operational aspectssuch as Itinerary building, Tour Costing, Vendor Management, VisaProcess, Bookings & Reservations were secondary responsibilities but just as important as Tour Management.Overall experience of leading approx 40-50 group tours consisting of 20-260 students on multiple domestic and foreign destination tours, as well as looking after the operations aspects of those tours.

Worked as a tour leader for Mumbai Urban Adventures, to provide inbound tourists with the best experience of the city of dreams - Mumbai, on fun sightseeing day tours and food tours.The most important responsibilities as a leader on these day tours were -1 - To make all the guests feel safe in the bustling city traffic during their walks, as it could be overwhelming for them.2 - To help them experience the city the best way possible, by making them dive deep into the city's history and the lifestyle of the people, by being one of those people, by traveling in the BEST buses, Local trains or our "Kaali-Peeli" cabs.3 - To help them understand the WHYs and HOWs of different things they come across during the tour, so that they can go back with the answers to their long pending curiosities and questions about our city of dreams.4 - To help them experience the best of Mumbai's street food without getting them sick and also give them the taste of the masala of Bollywood by taking them to one of the classic theatres of Mumbai to watch a Bollywood Drama from a balcony.5 - To ensure that they have the best, safe and fun experience in our city and never forget about it._______Overall experience of leading approx 50-60 tours (2-6 members per group) on 3 different types of city tours.
