I am a Specialist  Clinical Sleep Physiologist working for public health(NHS England )since 2014.I have been working in sleep physiology for more than 8 years.I got training in clinical sleep physiology from reknowned centers like Great Ormond Street and Kings College London. I am a highly skilled professional who is dedicated to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders in children and adults.My expertise lies in conducting and analyzing various sleep studies, including capnography studies, pulse oximetry studies,actigraphy studies and cardiorespiratory or respiratory polygraph sleep studies.My role involves performing sleep studies on children andults utilizing advanced equipment and technologies to gather crucial data on sleep patterns, breathing, and other physiological parameters.My primary responsibilities include scoring and interpreting sleep data and diagnosing and categorising sleep disordered breathing on patients as per American Academy of Sleep Medicine guidelines and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate treatment plans.I have extensive experience in supporting patients on non invasive ventilation (NIV). I conduct NIV compliance clinics (CAPAP and BiPAP)and also sit with respiratory consultants for patient post study review.I am proficient in using various sleep study systems and software namingly Remlogic,Winvisi and Domino ensuring accurate and reliable results.In addition to clinical work, I actively participate in research projects and contributing to the advancement of sleep medicine. I have recently presented and published an abstract on 'respiratory complications of covid 19 in children with neurological disorders'.My expertise extends to patient and family education,clinical staff training, students and juniors induction providing guidance on sleep hygiene and management strategies for patients with sleep disorders.As a dedicated professional, I continuously update on knowledge and skills through ongoing education and participation in relevant conferences and workshops. I have completed on merit an accreditation program on sleep technology education from American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
