About Sujit Pal
I am a Technology Research Director at Elsevier Labs. I use our content assets to create innovative ML based functionality to help researchers and clinicians achieve better outcomes. My focus has been to increase the effectiveness of applications using Machine Learning, mainly supervised and transfer learning, but also through unsupervised, semi/weakly supervised and self supervised techniques.My areas of interest are Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning (including Deep Learning). I have co-authored two books on Deep Learning and one on Graph/NLP techniques, collaborated with colleagues on several academic papers, and presented and blogged about my work at several professional conferences and blogging platforms.
