• Yahoo! Small Business & Yahoo! Local: Led conceptualization and delivery of Yahoo! Marketing Dashboard (launched May 2012), a one-stop freemium platform offering for local business owners to manage their online marketing and reputation, and drove product adoption to over 200,000 store owners in the first six months after launch. • Dynamic Display Ads for Listings: Owned pilot activities and launch of next-generation dynamic display ad platform for Yahoo! listings properties (Yahoo! Shopping & Yahoo! Autos). • Yahoo! HotJobs: Led product management at HotJobs, a leading online US job search and recruiting service, before divestment sale to Monster. Handled roadmap responsibilities for listings, search and media offerings.- Turned around revenue trends on the HotJobs e-commerce channel (included P&L responsibility and e-commerce transactions for 800+ local US newspapers that are part of the Newspaper Consortium), achieving over 20% year over year bookings growth each quarter in the last year in a tough economic environment. Revitalization enabled through changes in product offerings, pricing adjustments, analytics based purchase flow tuning and focused marketing efforts (email/direct mail/network advertising/search and affiliate marketing). - Conceived and managed development of Yahoo!’s first real-time e-commerce fraud detection and filtering (risk management) solution. Achieved over 70% reduction in credit card charge-backs and reduction in average time to screen orders from days to minutes in the first six months. - Owned consumer and recruiter search experiences and product offerings (including recommendation and matching engines) on HotJobs.

• Managed development and trial of Gartner’s new web data-mining based technology sentiment data offering targeted at quantitative buy-side investment firms. Interacted with leading banks and participated in sales calls during trial.

• Built Design Technology & Solutions organization in India and established it as a competency center for development of algorithms used in proprietary computer aided design simulation tools.• Authored or co-authored six patents/trade-secrets and over twenty ACM/IEEE journal/conference publications. Also served on two IEEE conference Technical Program Committees and as a referee for three ACM/IEEE conferences.• Served as Chair for site-wide corporate Design & Validation Special Interest Group (SIG) and as country representative for Asia-wide Intel Academic Forum. Pioneered visiting faculty program at Intel India which attracted faculty from U.S. universities and leading Indian universities. • Mentored Intel sponsored research at Indian Institute of Technology (IITs – Mumbai, Chennai and Kharagpur) and Indian Statistical Institute. Also mentored 10+ computer science student interns each year from leading engineering institutions in India and Thailand.
