English Learner Policy And Data Manager
Current- Drive the strategy and long term vision of the English learner program (25% of the student body at SFUSD) or about 13,500 students- Oversee compliance of English Learner requirements in accordance to federal and state Ed Code, focusing on progress monitoring and reclassification process improvements. -Manage distribution and allocation of Title III funds to participating private schools - Redesigned internal tools for student monitoring, establishing new metrics, building roadmap, tracking progress toward strategic initiatives and goals for EL students-Oversee scaled communication to families, teachers, and site administrators- Build and present academic achievement reports using SQL and Google products, analyzing trends in student performance- Build consensus on strategy and design of the EL roadmap with cross-functional teams and stakeholders- Prepare reports, presentations and memos for the reporting of English learner program
