My duties were to collect equipment from Parcel Force depots and install PC, laptops and printers at clients home. The procedure required me to set up Windows XP, install Panda Internet Security software and connect them to the Internet. I would also give a short demonstration on how to use the equipment.

The Lotus Group is one of the UK's largest travel agents with five sites across the UK, employing just over 500 users, and all IT services being controlled remotely from the head office in London. After completing my final year at University Lotus offered me a contract position, essentially a promotion from my previous role. In addition to my previous duties I was responsible for: Carrying out maintenance on all five sites. Providing mentoring to new university placement staff and organised their daily activities, including setting their priorities.
