CurrentScandiya is a company under the umbrella of Doyen Enterprises LLP that is focused on providing strategic procurement for para-military, defence equipment for international clients through their Defence Attaché in their respective embassies in India. Primarily focusing on the African Market helping them source the equipment from the Indian market. I have played an integral role in the setting up of the company and in business generation. Our major clientele comprises para-military, government, private security, third-party vendors for government agencies, etc. The Indian market has the most cost-effective solutions, which in return not only increases their profitability but rather any cost savings realised through sourcing improvements drops directly to the bottom line. I am also handling the legal aspect of the development of the procurement software interface and its application for Indian suppliers. This provides the Indian suppliers with a turnkey e-marketplace solution in order for them to fulfil the requirements of our esteemed clients. The use of the interface has significantly reduced the overall time that was earlier incurred by our clients in shortlisting and finalising the right kind of equipment.
