Working as a project management intern at Arkfin Investments pvt. ltd. I learned many skills that I felt were vital to my understanding of the construction industry. Getting to work on-site put me through a number of challenges which helped my understanding of the built environment. It helped enhance my know-how of how a site works. The experiences of working on-site included me:• Assisting the project manager with day-to-day tasks. • Coordinated with the workers on-site to achieve the completion of the project.• Liaised with multiple vendors to get quotes for optimized cost and value management.• Estimated quantities of materials required for the services and fit-out.All-in-all there are a lot of things that i learned from this experience and it was a big leap towards starting to work in the industry.
