My role involves working with the CEO on multiple initiatives and problems that lead towards the growth of the company including Product Roadmap, Sales Strategy, Hiring etc.I wear multiple hats at different points in time and that has lead to a steep learning curve. I meet interesting people everyday - Partners at PE firms, CFOs, CEOs, Credit Controllers and it is fascinating to understand how they look at the working capital problem.

Samhita is a social enterprise that collaborates with companies to develop impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Our focus areas include CSR strategy, programme design and sector research. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consulting practice has worked with leading companies across India to shape their social good strategies, facilitate program implementation, and assess on-the-ground impact of such initiatives. We also work with international and domestic donor agencies and foundations to facilitate multi-stakeholder platforms around critical social issues.

Having spent 6 months in the organization and with my transition to a strategic role I became more involved in decision making regarding the internal processes as well as companies based out of North America. I was primarily engaging with organizations on the west coast for majority of the time in this role. Increased traction from California and the surrounding regions by manifolds and built a strong pipeline for Sales.My role involved the following activities on a day to day basis :1. Creating a Strong Pipeline for Sales(Overachieved targets for FY16-17)2. Networking with CPOs and Procurement professionals from Mid-Market segment.3. Consulting Mid-Market companies to streamline their Source to Pay Environment.I was the only Executive among my peers to take initiative and ownership of additional responsibilities, like mentoring new joinees to acquaint them with the process and product, which accelerated their on boarding process, helping them achieve the organisational goals in an effective manner with a faster pace.During this role I was also the top performer to have achieved the highest number of registrations for the company's annual procurement conference - Horizon, building a strong network with C-Level Executives in North America.

Responsible for the regions in the west coast in North America, have proactively helped major organizations achieve best in class performance with the help of SaaS based Zycus Procurement Solutions, thus driving business development for Zycus through consultative approach.Areas of expertise include : Spend Analytics, Strategic Sourcing,Contract and Supplier Management, eInvoicing, Catalog Management, Procure to Pay, Consultative Selling, Developing strategies based on different verticals/geographies to constantly contribute towards Sales
