Starting as an Outpatients Appointment Coordinator, I quickly progressed to become supervisor of a team of six people concerned primarily with ensuring the Trust upheld government set targets. My time within this team saw me recruit internally for the team, coach as well as oversee a successful downsize from a team of six to four. Working in a time pressured environment I built and maintained relationships with Service Managers in order to negotiate appointments, dealt with issues and complaints from patients as well as leading the team to adhere to daily, weekly and monthly set targets.
