->Started plant operations and commercial manufacturing of API in Sun Pharmaceuticals which was a new manufacturing site. Built teams that delivered to the demand to establish systems in order to run the operations smoothly with compliance at every field. The plant got USFDA approval in 2017.-> Commissioned 3 new plants under my supervision at Alembic Pharmaceuticals to cater to the increasing market demand in terms of volumes of API produced. These plants represent world class API manufacturing facilities in terms of Automation of close loop operations in powder processing areas, utility and solvent handling.-> Achieved reduction in volumes of effluents by imbibing new technologies and ideas to maintain Zero discharge facility.-> Improved the capacities of the existing plants to 2X by optimizing operations, exploring new technologies and removing bottlenecks in equipment. Have also strived to minimize usage of solvents in the process which has immensely contributed to reduce the cost of products manufactured.-> Implemented new systems like LIMS, Documentum and WMS for paperless operation at Alembic.-> API unit under my supervision was able to successfully attain regulatory approvals from various regulatory agencies like WHO, USFDA, Health Canada, PMDA, TGA, KFDA, EDQM, ANVISA, COFEPRIS, Danish Medicines and German FDA.
