JOB RESPONSIBILITY• Design, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies.• Reviews and process purchase orders with complete specifications and artworks.• Comparison of quotations, negotiation with vendors, finalizing pricing and making business contact.• Ensuring quality and faster delivery reducing average lead time of procurement. Also ensuring timely payment to supplier.• Coordinating with production/production planning/store for material requirement and forecast purchase planning and ensuring continuous supply of required material also monitoring stock level in store to ensure that there is no loss of production. • Reduction in inventory and cost reduction through sourcing new vendor.• Ensuring quality of product at vendor level with substantial cost saving from existing vendors. • Ensuring timely delivery of raw material so that there is no loss of production.• Review and maintain good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation.• Continually improve purchasing methods/processes.• Maintain ISO & BRC documents.
