The Swedish Climate Policy Council is an independent, interdisciplinary expert body tasked with evaluating how well the Government's overall policy is aligned with the climate goals established by the Parliament and the Government.One of my main tasks was collecting data about the Swedish Government's work during 2021 related to the environment and climate, which was used as a base analysis in the yearly report published in March 2022. I was also involved in the Swedish Climate Policy Council's international partnership. Together with the Climate Councils from the UK, Chile and Finland, we initiated and established a new global network for national climate policy councils - the International Climate Council Network, ICCN. The network was officially launched during COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow. The purpose of the network is to promote cooperation between the councils and support the development of new climate councils worldwide.

SLU is a partner in the EU-funded LEAP4FNSSA project whose main objective is to provide a tool for European and African institutions to engage in a Sustainable Partnership Platform for research and innovation on Food and Nutrition Security, and Sustainable Agriculture (FNSSA). 'FNSSA project database' is built as a part of the platform and includes projects from the EU and the AU. My main tasks were finding projects with partners from Sweden and the AU through the Swedish databases (e.g. Swecris and Openaid) and communicating regularly with project leaders, primarily researchers from the Swedish universities.

I hold Econometrics lab sessions for third-year students at the Economics Department at METU and focused on data and regression analysis. During the lab sessions, I used R (i.e. a programming language and free software environment for statistical computing and graphics), EViews and STATA. As a TA, I prepared quizzes and assignments for the students each week where I had a full responsibility for the grading process. I also took part in the course examination.

I worked on a project called Startup Meter which aims to measure entrepreneurship ecosystems among different cities in the world, and collected data by considering approx. 200 indicators. Besides, I specialized in preparing survey questions that were used as a primary data source and interviewed startup founders from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
