As the Chief of Finance at Columbia University General Studies Student Council, I oversee the budget and financial operations of the largest and most diverse undergraduate student organization at Columbia. I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management from Bakersfield College, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics at Columbia University. I have over five years of work experience in the US Army, where I served as a Sergeant and a Korean translator. I have skills in strategic planning, leadership, and Korean translation, and I am passionate about peace, justice, and strong institutions. I am also an Associate Leader for the United Nations Columbia University Committee, where I contribute to the development and implementation of projects and initiatives related to the Sustainable Development Goals. I aim to use my finance, economics, and military background to advance the mission, vision, and values of the Columbia University General Studies Student Council and the United Nations.
