CurrentCurrently working as a contact process engineer on the 1550 TPD crude Terephthalic Acid Purification plant.Major Highlights:-> Monitoring daily plant operations & optimizing process parameters using Aspen IP-21 software for stable performance.-> Identifying and implementing energy efficiency improvements, leading to reduced plant energy consumption and cost savings.-> Stewarding monthly variable cost calculations and optimization.-> Re-rating existing Plate & Frame HEX using Aspen EDR for saving 6TPH of condensate to be used as seal water, thereby saving demin water translating to $55k savings/yr.-> Designed proactive logic to detect condensate logging in the rotary steam tube dryer, enhancing reliability.-> Increased 0.5% recovery of solids by increasing SS content through nitrogen injection, resulting in savings of $72k/month.-> Conducting mass & energy balance of plant main vent header to assess feasibility for DMW recovery, resulting in annual savings of $15k.-> Engaged in plant safety audits and incident investigation reports to uphold safety standards and drive improvements.-> Optimizing and monitoring operation of Amafilter system for recovery of solids from waste streams.-> Strict adherence and optimization of product quality-> Played a pivotal role in the 2024 plant major overhaul, overseeing activities for purification plant.
