Greater Capital Railway (GCR) Consortium is the General Consultant for North-South Commuter Railway Extension (NSCR-EX) Project (Malolos - Clark) (Solis - Calamba).The NSCR-EX project consists of two parts: a 51 km long Malolos-Clark (N2) section on the northern and a 56 km Solis-Calamba (SC) section on the southern side of the 37 km NSCR Project (N1). The project is funded by the Japanese ODA (STEP) and Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the estimated cost of the complete line is appx. 16 billion USD. The Client is the Department of Transportation (DOTr), and the end user is Philippine National Railways (PNR).Duties and responsibilities cover the management of 3 Contract Packages for the N2 and SC sections, but also overarching crucial interface/integration with the N1 section and MMSP.1. Contract Package CP NS-01 E&M Systems and Trackwork: - E&M Systems and trackwork covering all electrical and mechanical systems for railway operation: ERTMS Level 2 signaling (with ATO over ETCS option) and PSDs, communications, trackwork, power supply and distribution, 1500 VDC traction system, overhead catenary system, automatic fare collection, depot equipment for two major depots, and maintenance vehicles.2. Contract Package CP NS-02 Rolling Stock Commuter Trainsets: - A Rolling Stock fleet of 38 train sets with 120 km/h operating speed. Initially 8 cars, future 10 cars.3. Contract Package CP NS-03 Rolling Stock Limited Express Trainsets: - A Rolling Stock fleet of 7 train sets with an operating speed of 160 km/h. Initially 8 cars, future 10 cars.

Involved in the Lusail development project, one of the most significant and most elaborate developments being undertaken worldwide, over a substantial area of 35 square kilometers planned to house approximately 200,000 people. The Lusail Tram is composed of Yellow, Green, Red, and Purple Line, Total of 37 stations, with 10-stations underground, 38.5 km of Track inclusive of non-revenue and 10 km underground, 1 viaduct over Al Khor Highway, 1-Depot, 67-trains, 51-Power Substations, 86-escalators & 50-elevators, and 61-Jet fans (ventilation). Reviewed contractor's system assurance deliverables and provided the appropriate “Statement of No Objection” (SONO) recommendation on behalf of the Engineer Coordinated the review process and closure of all comments raised by the PMC, Engineer/Client, Independent Safety Assessor (ISA), and others, as applicable, on System Assurance Deliverables until the SONO status is reached. Monitored the Contractor’s Requirement Management (RM) implementation and works progress, managed the progress reporting, and ensured satisfactory closure of RM tasks Reviewed all safety submissions for compliance with the employer's requirements and the ISA’s safety requirements and observations Monitored the outstanding works towards their closure by the contractor.

KVMRT2 line will be 52.2 km (13.5 km in underground, rest is on viaducts) with 37 Stations and 2 Depots. The line will be operated under Fully Automated Operation (GoA4).My role as Systems Director roles and responsibilities covered coordination activities for all Rail Systems: Provide technical leadership on Track, Power, Signaling, Communications&Control, Rolling Stock, Platform Gates and Screen Doors, and AFC systems. Management and reviews of Contractors’ document submissions. Provide support on O&M of the metro system including Depots and OCC. Provide an oversight on Value Engineering and Gate Reviews and initiatives for all Rail Systems. Provide an oversight on interfaces, integration, system assurance and Risk management and support client in performing audits. Undertake inspections and witness tests and prepare reports as required. Provide advisory notes and draft letters for the Client.

The Lusail Light Railway Transportation System will have 4 lines. The trams are provided with electrical traction power from rigid catenary system in underground sections, and from APS rail at grade sections.The system will be operating with CBTC signalling system under continuous ATP. The underground platforms will be equipped with PSDs. Construction of Kadikoy-Kartal Metro Line (worth 901 Million Euro) which is 21.7 km of double track and is the first heavy metro line on Anatolian part of Istanbul. Design capacity of the line is 70.000 pphpd. The line is expected to carry 1 million passengers in a day.The roles and responsibilities included all matters relating to the management of E&M activities:• Established organization chart and recruited the whole E&M Department personnel. The team included more than 20 Engineers and 35 Technicians.• Reviewed the BoQ for the project to fully determine and understand the conditions, requirements, deliverables, risks and liabilities of the works as defined and awarded by the client.• Prepared budget for E&M systems and controlled monthly progress and budget reports.• Advised and assisted to the PM for main procurement strategies. • Carried out the price negotiations under supervision of PM. • Invited the sub-system suppliers, and collected their offers, and has chosen the best fit one for the purpose, and managed the technical annexes of the contracts with sub-system suppliers.• Assisted, coordinated and controlled design activities of the E&M systems.• Communicated with the End Customer, Engineer, Operator, and the third parties.• Coordinated system engineering activities: Controlled and asked for corrections in the documents produced by System Engineering consultant and other consultants. These documents include RAM, Safety, Adequacy, EMC, System Level T&C, and Operation plans, Noise&Vibration simulation report, SES reports for ventilation system, traction power supply system simulation reports, and headway&performance simulation reports.• Ensured that all project resources including materials and labour are ordered and are in place for installation in a timely manner.• Prepared monthly reports for upper level management.• Ensured the safety of the project through HSE management.

As the operator of metro, light rail, tramway, funicular and cable car in the city, ITC serves thousands of passengers a day.
