Hi, I’m Brendan. I’m a graphic designer, storyteller, and illustrator in sunny Orlando, Florida.I kicked off my design career in 2004 with a pirated copy of Photoshop (let us toast to the era before subscription models) and a healthy sense of curiosity that has endured to this day. In that time I’ve been fortunate to build a pretty diverse collection of skills, like graphic design and marketing, art, themed attraction design, photography, writing, and even silkscreen printing. To give an idea of my tastes, I get inspired by the great animation, art, children’s literature, architecture, and graphic design that came about in the mid-20th century. Think heavy hitters like Mary Blair, Maurice Noble, Ward Kimball, Eyvind Earle, Walt Peregoy, Saul Bass, the UPA studio, and Eichler homes. What can I say, I’ve got a real thing for modernism. Creative color palettes, interesting compositions, and whimsical shapes? Yes please! I’m also admittedly rather fond of oddities and monsters, and I’ll gladly take a detour to read historical markers and learn about the weird and wonderful world around us.
Listed skills include Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Adobe Creative Suite, and 18 others.
