Sullivan is a community leader and innovative social entrepreneur with more than 30 years of nonprofit and small business experience. Now, she has turned her attention to creative housing solutions by forming a partnership with InnovaLab, founded in Michigan, to launch InnovaLab Ohio as its chief operating officer. InnovaLab is dedicated to increasing housing supply using off-site construction methods to overcome our country's depleted housing supply. Among many advantages, modular and manufactured housing provide the best opportunity to increase middle housing more quickly and cost effectively. Models designed for urban infill lots can easily be replicated as Ohio zoning laws change and the need for density is incentivized. From statewide campaigns to the creation of the state’s first charitable pharmacy, Sullivan knows solving unique problems requires creativity and a pathway to measurable success. Now, she’s bringing that commitment to community and passion for problem-solving to Ohio's housing shortage. Previously, she has held a wide variety of positions in both the public and private sectors. She was executive director of a nonprofit before starting her own consulting business 25 years ago to provide high value marketing communications services, development strategy, government/community relations, and collective impact. Over the years, she has focused on increasing awareness for some of our community’s most challenging issues, including housing and homelessness. Sullivan is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati Class 30. In 2016, Sullivan founded Girls with Pearls, Cincinnati, a school-based girls’ leadership program that continues to serve hundreds of girls as a program of Most Valuable Kids. She was recognized as a WE Celebrate finalist for Woman of the Year – Entrepreneur (2008) and Social Entrepreneur of the Year (2012) by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber. Sullivan currently serves on the Lighthouse Youth & Family Services Board and is a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Advisory Board.
